We're building the world's first Creator Casino: a creator-powered gaming network where influencers launch Rooms, run drops/missions, and monetize Originals built on top of certified game engines—powered by an AI Host layer and programmable incentives designed for high-frequency sessions and measurable creator performance. This role helps us keep the economics of that network correct: wallets, bonuses, room incentives and provider integrations that have to be right to the last decimal.
Role Overview
We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer in CET to own core platform services and to triage production issues during the European morning. The bugs that matter here are money bugs—wrong currency, double credit, a migration that half-ran.
Core Tools & Systems (where this role operates)
Node, Fastify, Drizzle, Postgres, Redis
TypeScript end to end, Nx monorepo, Vitest, Valibot, Docker, Cloudflare Workers
Game provider and aggregator APIs
CRM / campaign platforms and payment + crypto on-ramp providers
Some Python on the AI services
Responsibilities
Own core platform services: wallet and balance flows, bonus and campaign engine, player lifecycle, referral and reward logic.
Integrate what we don't control—game providers, aggregators, CRM platforms, payment and crypto on-ramps: proxy their APIs, keep our state in sync, handle their outages gracefully.
Design and ship Postgres schemas and migrations against a live database, with idempotency as a hard requirement.
Build event pipelines and webhooks that carry correct amounts, currencies and exchange rates end to end.
Own observability and first response: alerts, logs, and the call on whether to roll back.
Review PRs and keep the trunk releasable.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years backend. Senior enough to take a ticket to production on your own.
Strong TypeScript and API design—you've owned a service, not just endpoints.
Real experience with Postgres at production scale: migrations, indexing, debugging slow queries.
You've integrated messy third-party APIs and lived with the consequences.
Based in CET ±1, and fine being the person who picks up a morning incident.
Written English good enough to work async.
Nice to Have
iGaming or payments experience.
Crypto / wallet infrastructure.
Event-driven architecture at scale.
Provably-fair systems.
